SBI revise the fixed deposit (FD) rate is applied on 10 September 2020.
The country's largest lender State Bank of India (SBI) has revised the interest rates on its fixed deposits (FD). SBI reduced the interest rate on maturities effective from 10 September. The bank has reduced the interest rates on fixed deposits (FD) from 20 basis points (BPS) to 2 years for 1 year.
The proposed rates of interest will be applied on new fixed deposits and renewal of maturing deposits.
SBI had earlier revised the interest rates on fixed deposits on 27 May.

- 46 days to 179 days - 3.9%
- 180 days to 210 days - 4.4%
- 211 days to less than 1 year - 4.4%
- 1 year to less than 2 years - 4.9%
- 2 years to less than 3 year - 5.1%
- 3 year to less than 5 years - 5.3%
- 5 years to up to 10 years - 5.4%

SBI latest FD interest rates for senior citizens effective 10 September
According to the SBI latest, FD interest rate SBI offers Senior citizens an additional 50 Basic points BPS interest rate across all tenors.

SBI special FD scheme for senior citizens: 'SBI Wecare' Deposit for Senior Citizens
Special "SBI wecare" deposit for seniors offered in the retail TD segment with an additional premium of 30 basic points (over existing 50bps) paid to 'senior citizens' for 'five years and above' on their retail TDs Will go. Only the "SBI wecare" deposit scheme extends for 31 December 2020
