01 Artificial Lake
Auli Lake is considered to be the highest man-made lake in the world. The Uttarakhand government has developed this in view of making artificial snow on the new ski slopes in the event of less snowfall. Water from the lake is used in artificial snowmaking systems to feed snow guns deployed along ski slopes and thus provide a skiing surface and extend the ski season. Auli hosted the South Asian Winter Games for the first time in 2011 with Dehradun. Ice hockey and ice skating events were held in Dehradun, while snowboarding and skiing competitions were held in Auli.
02 Gurso Bugyal
Gursan Bugyal (Gorsso Bugyal) is located at an altitude of 3056 meters just 3 kilometers from Auli. It is a large land of green pastures surrounded by coniferous forests and oak trees.
You can also trek towards Chhatrakund, which is just 1 km from Gursho Bugyal. Chhatrakund is famous for its sweet water and is situated in the center of dense forest. Seek the help of local people to reach Chhatrakund.
03 Chenab Lake
This beautiful lake has crystal clear water, and is surrounded by lush green forest with oak and pine trees. The road leading to the lake is not fully developed, and many tourists are not found in this area.
However, people interested in trekking activities visit this place and enjoy the natural beauty of the lake.
04 Joshimath
Nestled with love in Chamoli district of Uttarakhand, the holy city of Joshimath spreads its celestial splendor throughout the Garhwal region of Uttarakhand.
The city of Joshimath is also known as Jyotirmath and is the winter seat of Lord Badri, whose idol is brought from the Badrinath temple to the Vasudev temple in Joshimath. This holy city is revered by Hindus as an important pilgrimage center of the country.
05 Chattrakund
It is a small lake situated at an altitude of about 3000 meters above sea level. It is a famous place for trekking activities, and many people come here and enjoy adventure sports.
06 Narsingh Temple

The temple is also known as Narasimha Badritampal, and is dedicated to the Narasimha avatar of Lord Vishnu. It is also famous for being a part of Saptabadri.
As per the rituals, the idol of the Badrinath temple is brought to the Narasimha temple during the winter season, and it remains here during this period.
07 Trishul Peak

Trishul Peak, located at an altitude of 23,490 feet above sea level, is a major tourist attraction of Auli. This peak made its name from the trident of Lord Shiva. The site also has skiing slopes, which serve as training grounds for patrolling officers belonging to the Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force. Roopkund Lake, a mysterious water body, lies at the foothills of the summit. About 600 skeletons of humans and horses were discovered in this lake. This peak is also visible from Kausani and Bedini Bugyal.
08 Nandaprayag
Nandprayag is located in Chamoli district of Uttarakhand. It is located at the confluence of the Alaknanda and Nandakini rivers. Many devotees take a dip at the confluence to wash away their sins. According to mythology, Nandprayag was the capital of the Yadu dynasty. It is one of the five Prayagas, which serves as the gateway to the famous pilgrimage sites of Badrinath and Kedarnath. Other Prayag are Vishnuprayag, Karnaprayag, Rudraprayag and Devprayag.

Enthusiastic skiers can also go for slalom, cross-country and downward skiing & Trekking activities. The icy slopes are approximately 20 km long and feature side-and-frond movement along with the gondola cable car.
